This is some of the Aquapex tubing installed. The idea with this is to build in a bit of flex. If you are locked in to everything must be at 90 degrees, well you may want to try something else. This is a fantastic product. Remember, you must be certified by Aquapex in order to attach the fittings. |

This is the submersible pump, 3/4 horsepower, we have it lowered to 210 feet.We used plastic pipe instead of galvanized, in order to save weight. We were able to lower it by hand...that's not to say it wasn't heavy. It was just at the edge of being too heavy to control. The water temperature is 39.6 degrees F as it comes out of the ground. |

Ah... finally water, no more hauling. We still have to fill our containers but it is a lot easier. |

Gretchen laying down on the job. It is a rare moment. |

Gretchen making the last rough plumbing connection in the house. After the pressure test we passed another milestone. |

Installing a septic tank Alaska style. Note slope dump truck is on, it is steeper in reality. This was quite the project. |

What this photo says is we have water running in the house pipes, we have the septic system in, we do not have to pay for the portable poopatorium, and we now can have heat! |
