Llewellyn Glacier This photo was taken about 100 miles south of the Yukon border, 50 miles south of the town of Atlin B.C., we are looking north. We are in the Camp 26 sector of the Juneau Icefield. The dark line running down the left side of the photo is a medial moraine. The glacier surface is not all white because we are below the transient snow-line, you are looking at the actual surface of the ice not snow. The darker areas are dirt and rocks on the surface of the ice.
