| In 2006 I had the privilege of flying over the Stikine Icefield. The Stikine is located in Southeast, Alaska and spans the border betwenn Canada and the U.S.. On the West side of the Coast mountains the days are usually overcast and cool, on the East side they are sunny and warm. Typical of a marine vs. a continental climate. The pictures were taken through the perspex canopy of the plane, so there is a little distortion due to marks etc. The filenames describe the picture. This will just have to do for a while. |
