| In April of 2006, we were asked to rebuild a bridge spanning the South Anchor River near Anchor Point, Alaska. With the aid of a neighbor and his mastery of the trackhoe we were able to complete the demolition in record time. We controlled the debris falling into the river by deploying tarps along the bottom of the existing frame. They worked really well. We prebuilt as much as we could and had the trackhoe swing the sections into place. It was a fun job that went along smoothly. We used a lot of lag bolts. |
