| On August 14th, 2005 I received an invitation to go along on a flight-seeing trip to the Bagley Icefield and Icy Bay. Both are located east of Valdez Alaska.The weather was beautiful for flying that day and I felt lucky and honored to be able to go along. The scenery was spectacular and on such a huge scale that you can only imagine. In the Matanuska Glacier picture you can see cars in the parking lot for a hint of scale. Thanks |
